To all of you curious enough to read this:
Hello. I enjoy playing Backgammon, ludo, painted yatzy, and regular yatzy. Tourneys are quite fun to play in. But a note to those of you who play in them: Good tourney manors- A) Say Hi and GL( Good Luck). And when someone says Hi and GL to you, and you do not say anything, you are being quite rude, no matter what country you call home. If you can not read or write english, there are many OB sites, one of which I am sure speaks your native tounge. B) At the end of the match, say GG( Good game), win or loose. The games here are for fun, not being rude to each other. Please remember that. C) Please, wether you are out first round in tourney, or last round, THANK THE HOST! They do not get paid to sit there for hours hosting tourneys, they are volunteers. If you can't be bothered to go to room tour was being hosted in and say ty(thank you), ty4h( thank you for hosting), ty4t( thank you for tourney), or SOMETHING, again, you are being rude. Come to think of it, the above mentioned, with the exception of C, can be applied to all games, tourney or not. Thought for the day- “As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” ~ Henry David Thoreau GL to everyone in your games. Hope you have a great day. (109). |
